Sustainability & Net Zero Commitment Statement

1. Purpose

Hippie Turtle Herbal Co. (HTHC) is committed to operating responsibly and sustainably, reducing our environmental impact across all aspects of the business. This statement sets out our commitment to achieve Net Zero by 2030 and outlines the actions we are already taking.

2. Current Actions 

• Packaging: We use FSC-certified packaging materials and are continually working to

  reduce plastic usage.

• Shipping: We utilise zero carbon delivery options for customer orders where possible, through Royal Mail and DPD.

• Suppliers: All manufacturing partners are based in the UK/EU and operate under regulated standards, minimising transport emissions and ensuring robust compliance.

• Operations: As a small, lean company, our operations already have a relatively low carbon footprint compared to industry averages.

3. Net Zero Target 

• HTHC has set an internal target to achieve Net Zero by 2030.

• This target aligns with wider UK and retail industry goals and reflects our commitment to continual improvement in environmental performance. 

• Progress will be tracked through supplier practices, packaging choices, logistics, and future operational improvements. 

4. Ongoing Commitment 

• We will continue to review supplier certifications and encourage sustainable practices throughout our supply chain.

• We will explore further opportunities to reduce emissions, including energy-efficient operations, sustainable sourcing, and carbon offsetting if required.

• This statement will be reviewed annually and updated as our roadmap evolves.
