Hippie Turtle Herbal Co. (HTHC) is committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our business or supply chain. This statement is made in alignment with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

 

2. Our Business 

HTHC is a UK-based wellness brand, sourcing products from fully regulated and reputable UK/EU manufacturers and distributors. We operate as a small independent company with a lean supply chain.

 

3. Our Commitment 

  • We do not tolerate forced labour, child labour, or any form of human exploitation.

  • We only work with suppliers who can demonstrate compliance with local labour laws and ethical standards. 

  • We require our suppliers to maintain relevant certifications and recognised standards (such as ISO manufacturing) as appropriate. 

 

4. Due Diligence 

  • All manufacturing partners are based in the UK/EU and are subject to UK/EU labour law.

  • HTHC itself holds responsibility for product-specific regulatory compliance, including Novel Foods registration, CPSRs, and OPSS listings.

  • We regularly review supplier practices and maintain open communication to ensure compliance. 

  • If any risks are identified, immediate action will be taken, including termination of supplier relationships if required. 

 

5. Review 

This statement will be reviewed annually to ensure ongoing compliance and relevance.
